Writing over these past handful of years has been the source of so much healing and clarity for me. To celebrate my five-year “blog-iversary”, I put together 52 original journal prompts to share over this next year (5/10/14-5/2/15) for anyone interested in writing along with me.
These prompts are designed to spark original insight into essential questions so you can experience more clarity and fulfillment in your life.
Your writing would be for your eyes only, and of course you are under no obligation to make use of a prompt if it fails to resonate with you or if you don’t have time. If a prompt fails to resonate, I would encourage you to use an alternate prompt such as “I really don’t like this prompt because . . .”
In addition to publishing the journal prompts on this page, I will also be journaling along with you and will share the prompt, as well as many of my journal responses, on “Cathartic Clarity”: the Facebook Community I created that’s dedicated to empowering clarity through journaling.
If you were to read my journal responses, you would notice I follow the rule of not following the rules of writing. :) Improper sentences, spelling, grammar, punctuation and the like denote that the emphasis is on writing rather than on editing. It is a useful strategy to burn through the “first thoughts” and get to the true insight concealed within the practice of journaling.
Email me at care @caremycue.com, or click the button on the right, if you would like the weekly journal prompts conveniently emailed to you each Saturday. I look forward to hearing from you!
