Seamless Integration

When faced with an emergency, secondary thinking stops and primary thinking engages. We are in a humble state of receptivity as the situation unfolds, enabling us to respond to the situation without weighing the consequences or contemplating how our action will support our cause. The action we take is a perfect extension of experience to that point.

Truly the situation is an integrated whole: stimuli and response are one “arising”. All of life led us to this one pivotal point, and we step selflessly in alignment with it as if it were a masterfully choreographed dance.

What story would our life tell if each action arose from primary thinking, in humble receptivity, from seamless integration, in selfless alignment?
